Riviera Base

Our facilities include everything a pilot may require, from flight planning tools to wifi access, meeting rooms, a shower and kitchen. Even more importantly, our staff and other visiting pilots provide a huge local knowledge base for those new to the region.

Cannes Mandelieu airport is ideal for yacht embarked helicopters in the region. Some yachts use our facilities as an advance logistics center if the vessel is coming to the Mediterranean from, say, the Caribbean. Many owners use our services when the yacht is alongside in Monaco or IYCA Antibes and the aircraft is prohibited from using the helideck.

Our base is a home from home. Some pilots find it a challenging operating in a country that does not speak their native language. Our operations staff speak many languages to help you get organized. Sometimes it’s the small things that just make life easier!

Secure Hangarage

The Heli Riviera villa is in a secluded corner of Cannes Mandelieu airport. Our gated hangarage area is literally one minute’s walk from the villa. Pilots can leave their aircraft on the tarmac outside the hangar for when they are actively engaged in yacht or villa support.

We also offer longer-term storage options inside the hanger. As part of this service we can also provide helicopter maintenance, so the aircraft is safe and ready for use at the start of the next flight season.

Airport access badges can be arranged by our friendly staff. We will complete the necessary paperwork, giving you the access that you require to the tarmac.

          Office Services

Dedicated office space available for crew support, comprising of a comfortable lounge environment equipped with a computer, internet, printer, fax and telephone service.

Pilots are able to plan their flights in an efficient environment enjoying the full benefit of Heli Riviera’s administration support staff. Bilingual staff to help you understand the locals.

This area can also be reserved for half or full day use, allowing you to have the space and privacy for meetings with yours clients or colleagues.

  Aircrew Support

-Accommodation. For long-term pilot accommodation we offer a villa rental service providing a homely environment and saves on inflated hotel costs. For short-term stays we have discounted hotel rates in the local area. We can also arrange a self catered apartment.

– Car Rental. Drop off & pick up of the car can be arranged for you

– Personal Organization. Internet and office facilities, car parking, shower room, ironing board, outside garden table, coffee and cooking areas

– Refreshments. Small snacks & cold drinks available for you to purchase. Supermarket and restaurants are five minutes away. Place your lunch order before 11:00 with the Heli Riviera staff and we will arrange to have it delivered to the villa

– Local Guide. Heli Riviera’s “what’s on guide” detailing hotel and restaurant recommendations, as well as up and coming local events.
